Strength is not everything but without it we are nothing The more we train, the more strength we have at our disposal for each kilogram of body weight. Remember that muscle strength is what keeps us upright, brings us upstairs, supports us. Without muscle strength we would be rooted to the spot. Why do we feel so good in the bath? It’s because water displacement makes us feel lighter. If we train our body for strength, we can enjoy this feeling on a permanent basis. Most people can double their muscle strength within two years and about one-third can triple it. Quality of life is dependent upon the body’s load/strength ratio.
