Eating...

There are literally hundreds of places to eat in Camden Town, so whether you’re chasing cheap and cheerful or haute cuisine it’s here for you. Famous (and sometimes infamous) for market stall food – some of which is fabulous beyond belief – don’t forget about places like the York & Albany, Market, Caponata and Gilgamesh for a bit of posh too.

This homely café injects a rustic sweetness and sophistication into Camden Town. A glass counter is piled high with delectable own-made cakes and deep dishes of comfort food, and you'll struggle to find better coffee locally. We enjoyed a huge slice of piping-hot chicken and mushroom pie packed with tender meat and chunky vegetables, and a mammoth portion of spinach lasagne; both came with fresh, imaginative salads.
