Eating...

There are literally hundreds of places to eat in Camden Town, so whether you’re chasing cheap and cheerful or haute cuisine it’s here for you. Famous (and sometimes infamous) for market stall food – some of which is fabulous beyond belief – don’t forget about places like the York & Albany, Market, Caponata and Gilgamesh for a bit of posh too.

Asakusa is the go to place for the Japanese living in London, as well as for foodies who love Japanese food. The fare there is authentic, varied, and fresh. The dishes are well cooked and overall quite impressive. Plus, the price are extremely reasonable. Catering for private parties of up to 25 people is available upon request. A takeaway menu is also available. If you're trying out Japanese food for the first time, or are fed up with the omnipresent sushi, come to this friendly restaurant. The grilled fish is excellent as are the tempura dishes.
